Singer/songwriter and guitarist, born June 19, 1940 in Asunción, Paraguay.

Arsenio had an early and long career which included several school and folklore festivals, winning a radio competition and founding a trio named "The Kyrios". In 1968 he was asked to join Luis Alberto Del Parana's ensemble, making his debut at New York's Madison Square Garden. When the latter died, Arsenio continued touring and recording with his brother Reynaldo Meza's follow-up group.

Mr. Jara died June 16, 2011 in Paraguay because of pancreatitis, aggravated by symptoms of diabetes.
