Mike Stern

American jazz/jazz-funk/fusion guitarist, and composer, born January 10, 1953 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was born Michael Sedgwick and later adopted his stepfather's surname. He has had musical patnerships with Blood, Sweat & Tears, Billy Cobham, Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorius, The Brecker Brothers and Joe Henderson among others.

Husband of Leni Stern. Uncle of George Nozuka & Justin Nozuka, half-brother of actress Kyra Sedgwick (Kevin Bacon (3)'s wife) and uncle of Travis Bacon.
