This is classified as Psych and Space Rock... but I think that is just describing the cover... I would put this under Minimalist, Drone, Improv. The sound is basically 2 complete sides of organ music with maybe 3-4 notes and a few harmonics and some tonal beating. This record is far more oppressive and experimental than the cover would lead you to believe. I never known anyone else who had this record... I like to use it as a palate cleanser. It's sort of a greasy sweaty avant-garde minimalist record made by hippies for hippies. You start to focus on the air pushing through the pipes of an organ and rippling the vibrations out until they cause sympathetic oscillations in your own neural synapses. To really appreciate it perhaps you should attempt to harmonize your own vocal chords and breath as well. That or just use it to see how long you can stand it before you have put on something with a beat. I can't say I don't like this record, but I always feel as though I don't fully appreciate it. I wish it had liner notes explaining the instruments and intentions of the artist... It is rare and the information about it just as rare... so if you want something rare... Sweet Air is the breath you're looking for.
