American saxophonist (tenor, soprano), oldest brother of Wynton Marsalis, Delfeayo Marsalis, and Jason Marsalis. Son of Ellis Marsalis. Born August 26, 1960 Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, USA.

1992 - Wins Grammy for Best Jazz Instrumental Performance for album “I Heard You Twice The First Time”; begins working on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” for near 2 years
1993 - Wins Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Performance for “Barcelona Mona” from single with Bruce Hornsby - Talk Of The Town
2000 - Wins Grammy for Best Jazz Instrumental Album “Contemporary Jazz”
