How can someone who made something as amazing as Mute produce this control bollox tune in the charts?

I am completely baffled as to how a man who's capable of producing incredible tracks such as Fluid Motion, Mute, Double Vision and Sedation, can glide down the slope with producing total boring and uninspired predictable commercial crap like American Beauty (which theme is in itself beautiful!)...
This, together with the same downhill trend for J. Majik, markes the death of true drum'n'bass to me...
I hope the scene will get their acts together and start going deep again, instead of just copying each other over and over!
