Profile: | Star Band de Dakar, or sometime known as Star Band, was a Senegalese group formed the 3th in August 1960 by Ibrahim Kassé, Le Miami Night Club's owner in Dakar, with musicians such as Dexter Johnson and Mady Konate, singers Laba Sosseh, Papa Serigne Seck, Amara Toure and Youssou N'Dour.
