Danish jazz trumpet and flugelhorn player, born 29 March 1940 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Died 26 November 2020. Son of Berl Botschinsky. Leader of the Danish 1970's jazz supergroup Iron Office. Owned publishing company Botschinsky Music and was co-founder of the German jazz label M•A Music. Leader of the DR Big Band in the 1970s and 1980s and conductor of five consecutive Danish Eurovision entries between 1979 and 1983. Winner of the 1982 Nordring Radio Prize.
