Magnum Bonum

Magnum Bonum

Profile:

Swedish pop group from Huddinge, formed in 1977.

They had several chart successes in Sweden during the 1970s and 1980s. Famous songs are Skateboard (LA Run), "Marie", "Lover Boy", "We Want More", "High Hat" and "Digital Panic".

When the singer, Lars Liström (1960–1983), died of cancer, Magnum Bonum continued to tour, but they divided the responsibility for the song among themselves. The group's breakthrough came with the song "Skateboard" (cover of "LA Run") in 1978.

Today, Magnum Bonum plays at various nostalgia events. They are still sought after by the organizers. In total, the band has sold over 600,000 records.
