Wondering if anyone can help with a release. I've got a "Kiss" bootleg, white label single sided, no info at all, kind of breakbeat/house (not the Daft Punk one!!!). I can't find any info anywhere and went through all the releases on this page. Anyone have any hints on this? It was bought in the early 2000s I think. Many thanks.

Prince is music. No one does it better. His vocal range, the dark poetry of his song writing, his emotional connection, his spirituality, guitar and piano skills, his perfectionism, his work ethnic, the versatility, the energy especially in the 80's. Untouchable. Reach for the stars. I wish you heaven.

leafoscillot But you also have to wonder why the 2nd an artist of this calibre dies everyone suddenly rushes to buy. That's about as suspect as it comes. Why now? Why not when he was alive and needed the album sales to support himself. I always find it odd that the ones that get mad are the ones trying to get stuff after an artist dies. Just makes you wonder. I love PRINCE and have since I was a tiny kid who got his ass kicked for wearing a Purple Rain t-shirt almost daily when I was 13. Back then his gender-fuck attitude did not sit well in small towns but I still threw the love to him. He was a miracle to me. Long story short. The man wasn't a hater. Don't hate. It is what it is. And no matter how high his catalog sells for now nothing will change what is and bring him back. I think he'd be honored to see his catalog blow up - shows respect. Peace to you all.

The guy was indeed a genius, and in time there will most likely be a flood of posthumously released new albums (longer than with Jimi Hendrix?) and remasters of the many great albums he made in the course of a forty-year long career. According to a brief feature on the BBC early this year, with Susan Rogers, his half-mythical "Paisley Park vault" contained thousands of unreleased songs, demoes and recordings.

What you puttin' up your nose? Is that where all your money goes?
More relevant now than when this amazing human being first put quill to parchment.there are probably tens of thousands out there who feel they know prince through his music.i would definitely fall into this category.
Have you seen the video for purple rain where the guy watches intently prince's performance and towards the end nods in approval of the raw talent he is witnessing? (with those ridiculous 80's specs)
For me,this acknowledgement sums up prince.even the most sceptical have no choice but to acknowledge the genius they are witnessing.
Undeniable, irrefutable and entirely irreplaceable.thankyou prince for making my life better. Xxxxxxxxx
