British session cello and electric cello player..
He co-founded The Millennia Ensemble in 1995 with Chris Worsey, recording for many artists including Travis, David Gray, Paul McCartney and Luciano Pavarotti.
His Film and TV sessions include The League of Gentlemen, Bridget Jones' Diary, Kiss of Life and This is not a Love Song.
Ian's string arrangements include those used by Suede, Elbow, Doves and Cathy Davy.
He has toured and played live on electric cello with many acts including Drugstore, Tom McRae, Elbow, Ben Folds Five and Lambchop.
His orchestral work also includes Guildford Philharmonic, Southern Sinfonia and The Orchestra. Sessions include Millennia Strings, Steve Hussey, Brilliant Strings and Wrecking Crew.
Ian occasionally plays double bass on shows such as Beauty and the Beast and Passion and is a regular member of the Nat Franklin Trio.
