Corrado Galzio

Italian pianist. Born in Noto, Sicily, he studied and graduated at "Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome" under the guide of Renzo Silvestri. He alternates his activity between Italy and Venezuela where he directed the State Conservatory of Music in San Cristòbal. He was the founder of Italian Conservatory of Music in Caracas and also the ideator a director of the international music festival named "Noto Musica Festival" since 1975. From the first quartet founded several years ago in America, he has formed also an Ensemble Galzio "I Solisti di Santa Cecilia" as he wanted to remember his friends, mainly ex-scolars and ex-teachers that studied or worked with him at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome.
