David And Marianne Dalmour

David And Marianne Dalmour

David and Marianne, who lived in Meanwood, West Yorkshire, England, began their career as the Dalmour Trio with Trevor Holroyd playing the clubs, including Hernandos and Ace of Clubs venues in Leeds. The couple got their break as a duo and in 1965 a recording session in London was turned into their first LP by Columbia and singles Bonsoir Chere and Tell Me In September hit the charts. While David was feted as a musical innovator, his wife's voice gained them a loyal following amongst music connoisseurs for decades to come.
At their peak, husband and wife team David and Marianne Dalmour recorded six albums of their "Continental" music and later went on to perform on Television and later for passengers aboard the QE2.
David Passed in 2007 aged 81
