There were several early members of Spiderbaby. Richard Redmond was an excellent guitarist who added psychotic guitar solos. Linda LaSabre (Beat Mistress) was the first drummer with the band and went on to form her own group "Death Ride 69" (releasing the "Elvis Christ" EP in 1989) as well as working with "My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult".

Stevie Ray Plush (SR) assumed drumming from approximately 1985-1988. He played on all early demo tapes, the first EP and wrote lyrics for "Pilsner" and "Wake Up". Max Edison had filled-in briefly for SR, while he worked with The Johnsons and Max was a natural fit to later replace SR.
