I have a version of 'halfway between here and there' but with defied the art work and track list to the 2 version listed. It has the same tracks but in a different order.

It also still features a hula girl figure but a different image. Anyone have any more info on this? I can't find any through google. Could be promo perhaps?

When they still went by the name "Pharmaceutical Bandits," they released a self-titled cassette tape. In fact, they eventually released a CD version (entitled "Those Damn Bandits"), but the recording was different, all profanity was removed, and the songs sounded a bit tamer (especially "High-Skool," which was originally quite fast and gritty, but lost its bite in the CD version).

Anyway, the tape is from 1996---I'm looking at it right now---so that (along with the CD-version of the album, "Those Damn Bandits") should be listed as their first album, not "Halfway Between." And yes, I know there's a separate page for the band under the moniker "Pharmaceutical Bandits," but why do that when THEY ARE THE SAME BAND as Rx Bandits here? I don't know a great deal about merging artist pages or anything like that, but someone should take care of it.

At any rate, I haven't really followed these guys for years, but when I saw them play a few shows back in 1996 and 1997, they were awesome. Fast, quirky ska with a hint of punk. Even "Progress" was alright, though admittedly a much different sound (perhaps more mature, but again, without some of the bite that initially drew me to their music).
