Nero (5)

.. i wonder, yea, is this peoples really think they is special, is or was, in whatever wot way..

In my opinion Nero are one of the most interesting acts in the drum'n'bass and dubstep, that moved into completly different and fresh direction.
Direction which is not typical for artists on bass music scene (edit: another person would be John B maybe, and his electrostep trance n bass stuff?).
With Welcome Reality their pushed their sound into more cinematic and symphonic directions.
On the second album you can still hear sounds that made them unique in dnb/dubstep, combined wonderfully with neo noire, cyberpunk, new retro synthwavy, trancey housey electronica.
It's hard to label it, even though it is easy to name the ingridients of this mixture.
They sound amazing, every single tune could be the movie score.
They literaly found themselves a perfect place between two worlds.
I hope sooner or later they will come back with new Nero music.
