American jazz clarinetist and saxophonist player.
Played with : Paul Specht (1936), Red Norvo (1936-1939), Bob Crosby (1940-1941), Les Brown, Benny Goodman, Red Norvo (again), CBS (studio group), Miff Mole, Tommy Dorsey, ABC (staff, for ten years), Jack Teagarden ('50s), Louis Armstrong ('50s) and in little groups.
In 1954 recorded his only album as leader entitled "Holiday with Hank" (Bethlehem Records).
One of his last work (1964) was with the "Morey Field Trio".Died of cancer.
