Ray Charles

American singer, songwriter, musician, and composer, born September 23, 1930, Albany, Georgia, USA – died June 10, 2004, Beverly Hills, California, USA.
He was inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 (Performer).

In 1962, he founded Tangerine Records. After Charles left ABC Records in 1973, he closed Tangerine and started Crossover Records (3). The Tangerine catalog is owned by Ray Charles Enterprises, Inc.
