Mysterious, mischievous, devious, delirious, pounding, astounding, resounding.
SNTS was accidentally discovered while I was trying to find something to go along with my Ancient Methods, Orphx and Shifted home listening sessions.
Ran into a masked guy, releasing highly limited vinyl records, sampled a few, and decided to go for it. Off the bat, I identified it as my type of sound.
Played them, liked them a ton, yet managed to skip a few of the next ones.

Fortunately, a year or two later, a wise choice was made, and a small batch of represses hit the stores. Bought everything on sight. By that point, in my ears at least, this was the only proper heir of the aesthetic laid out years before by Ancient Methods.

All of his releases are more than worth owning. They all follow a somewhat similar path: one dark ambient cut, one off-beat industrial excursion, and then from one up to two majestic, tunneling techno bangers coated in the most opaque nuances of grey. Pure joy for the harder heads out there.
Picture a less experimental Orphx track combined with an Ancient Methods effort devoid of the medieval influences, and you are on the right track. Heavy and ominous, yet not overburdened with effects, white noise and what not others are just convinced they have to include in their music.

Fast forward to 2015. A spectacular debut album drops, propelled to the scen's forefront by a sterling Boiler Room appearance, that sent instant ripples through the more serious electronic music circles. Check it out, odds are you'll be head over heels with that session.

A timely change of sound (for better or for worse) came in 2016, via a new label, and a sophomore album, to the dismay of some, and sheer joy of others. Personally, I am adamant to the point of no return that SNTS had a sound that was perfect just the way it was. In my opinion, there was nothing that could have been done to enhance it. However, no one with an IQ above a 4, on a good day, expected him to keep on releasing the same record ad infinitum.

I still keep an eye out on his releases, although not as diligently as before. Regardless, I consider him one of the finest techno artists to have emerged during this decade. He literary had a five year roll during which he hasn't missed half of a baby step. In my book, that qualifies as top drawer stuff all the way. Proud owner of his body of work.
