I compared an original of Geogaddi with the repress and the repress lacks depth and detail. I am going to compare all of them and i think it will be the same. Also the colors of the cover of the original are more beautiful.
Buy the originals !

Well, what can I say about these guys? They are phenomenal. One of my favourite artists of all time. They produce such eerie, nostalgic soundscapes, and have a unique style all of their own. I'm glad I found them about a few years ago. I purchased a compilation which had one of their songs on it, Aquarius. At first I thought it was a rather silly track, I didn't like it. But then, the more I heard it, the more it grew on me, and the more I got into their music. BoC are like that. They don't tend to make music that is like-able straight away (though that depends on the person listening to it). I love music like that, when you are rewarded for sticking with it. Its that music which I believe stands the test of time.

A very unique sound for the underground back in the mid/late 90s. 96 is when I first heard them. Being well versed in the 'scene' that was taking place back then I can tell you that their sound has been duplicated hundreds of times by other new musicians, even still today. Some 'artists' completely stole their sound and got pretty famous of of it. The mid ground music scene lapped it up like a starving dog and claimed the sound as their own discovery. All of their releases were groundbreaking until post rock started to emerge and for some reason the BOC sound got watered down more with each release, it was a sad state. I'm sure they can pull through but time will tell.

The most ridiculously overrated act of the last 20 years. Some nicely crafted tracks, for sure, but nothing essential or groundbreaking. There is nothing in their catalogue The Orb, Biosphere, Aphex or Autechre didn't do before them. Even worse, they turned regression into an agenda. They got rid of the evolving spirit of electronic music, and offered a sanitized, standardized, inert thing instead, a recognizable product for sanitized, standardized, inert people. That the formula stuck is the worst thing that ever happened to the genre.

They are too absent between each album. I do not think these guys live exclusively on BOC.

I really hope they release their early material aka. "a few old Tunes 1 & 2" and the so-called "35 Random Track". There is so much special material on there. Feed the fans Boc! we all want it <3

This Scottish duo came to the surface on the influential Skam label in 1996. Their ability to combine loping, Trip-Hop beats with modulated, warm, muted electronics was immediately apparent. This earlier EP showed a heavy debt to Electro while laying down the specifics for the themes that they would pursue on their debut record, Music Has the Right to Children. Released in '98, the record was a bright light in the haze of electronic music that year, marked by stripped-down warm tones, handclaps, random vocal samples and melodies which seemed childlike (but these children were playing on a much colder, enshrouded playground). Their slow motion Funk has also been captured on a recent Peel Sessions release.

A cool band that can be both soothing and groovy.
