Profile:	African American blues singer and pianist, born March 9, 1903 in Sandersville, Georgia, died 1980 in (probably) Chicago, Illinois. White first recorded as vocalist with Jimmie Noone in 1930, and then made a long string of recordings for Decca 1935-1941.
