Johnson recorded for QRS, Paramount, OKeh and Vocalion in 1928-1929. She was again recorded by Sam Charters in 1961; these recordings were intended for release on Bluesville, but were not released until 1984 on Henry Brown & Edith Johnson - Barrelhouse Piano & Classic Blues.
