Born : January 18, 1912 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Died : June 14, 1993 in Los Angeles, California.

"Red Mack" (his nickname) played with : Louis Armstrong, Sonny Clay, Charlie Echols, Lorenzo Flennoy, Lionel Hampton and as a led in his own orchestra.
