Datura were cool back in the day ie-early to mid 90's, their early stuff like yerba del diablo, eternity, devotion, featured vocals from Amparo Fidalgo otherwise known as the visionary voice. The lyrics were not so much sung as spoken which gave their tunes a very stylish, classy sound.
Datura very much had their own signature sound that was instantly recognizable, distinctive melodies, often a female vocal that is manipulated into a staccato melody ,track structure and of course the use of sparse vocals, in short though if you have a thing for dance music with foreign vocals you would love Datura !!!
