August 18, 2007According to Tyree, Lidell gave a huge contribution to his friend and borrowed the equipments used in 'Acid Over': "I asked Lidell Townsell if I could borrow his 303 and 909, so I could make this acid track for my record company. Then, he lent me his machines".
Townsell produced some of the amazing & primarly influential Acid House tunes from the golden era (1987-1989). He was behind "I Gotta Big Dick" with Maurice Joshua with Hot Hands Hula, "This Is Acid" by the same Maurice, and "I'll Make You Dance" featuring the rapper Kool Rock Steady (another musical partner and friend in common he had with Tyree).
