In 1977, Sayers rebuilt the Trafalgar control room, before moving to Byron Bay to set up Music Farm Studios. He later returned to Sydney and moved into television production, then to Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, to lecture and design the studios at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga, and become a studio design consultant. In the mid 90s he returned to Byron Bay and music production. Since then he has gone on to design and refurbish numerous studios including BPro Productions - Dubai, ANU Music Studios - Canberra, ff Studio -
Taiwan, Rose Lane - California, Wasteland - Fremantle, The Refinery - Melbourne, Soultrax - India.
