Collage (20)

Collage were Darrell Holt (piano-vocals-trumpet), twins Liz and Chris Brandesky (vocals), Phil Walker (string/electric bass), and Dan Prado (drums).
They formed in 1970 while attending Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas and played many venues in the San Antonio area before recording an album for Golden Crest Records in 1971.
Actually Darrell Holt was an assistant professor of music and director of the University Lab Band and Jazz Vocal class, and was responsible for the arrangements on this album which includes “old standards done in an up-dated manner along with current popular tunes”.
