Through his very deep musical background, Stacey Pullen explains his famous alias Kosmic Messenger, a sort of agent from the Cosmos with the special mission to spread quality music to the audiences Worldwide.

Kosmic Messenger, according to him, was a combination of old Jazz names (including the Jazz Messengers, leaded by one of his favorit drummers Art Blakey, but also essential Jazz artists such as Clifford Brown, Donald Byrd, Lee Morgan, Freddie Hubard, Wynton and Brandford Marsalis, Horace Silver, Wayne Shorter, among other talents) that he put together with the essential meaning of focusing a kind of message that puts together elements of music which stand the test of time.

For these artists from the scene of Detroit, there is a very close connection between the improvisation and creativity of Jazz, and the free use of Technology based in higher sense of feeling existing in Techno - and that's exactly the meaning adopted by Stacey Pullen. (The use of the word 'Cosmic' is pretty well-known on the Jazz domain, by the way - it's not difficult to find out younger bands such as the Cosmic Jazz from Arizona, USA, or Jay Myerson And The Cosmic Jazz Defenders, a band inspired on the legendary tenor saxophonist John Coltrane).

Through this alias, Stacey Pullen, an important name of the electronic music scene from Detroit - the so called second generation of Techno - wrote some of his most brilliant compositions: "Soundscape (Intricate Mix)", "Eye To Eye" and "The Death March".
