Full Circle (2)

Profile:
Full Circle, and later on First Circle, was a Randy Muller initiative. He produced the sole LP and the two charting singles from this five-man vocal group. Their lineup consisted of lead singer Albert Lee, guitarist Larry Marsden, drummer Glenn Everette, bassist Anthony McEwan, and percussionist Richard Sinclair. It was only when the first single “Workin' up a Sweat” started to show in the American dance charts that they heard of another group called "Full Circle". Apparently, a Boston jazz outfit that had been around for a long time had their lawyer complain and demand a name change. Under the circumstances, it charted at #49 R&B in spring 1987. Randy Muller helmed First Circle's LP “Boys' Night Out” on EMI America which was issued April 1987. One of the follow-up singles was “Can't Find a Love” and became, like “Workin' up a Sweat”, a post-release collectible. After this short-lived period of success they disbanded.
