In this world, there is no place for the constantly recycled concepts of darkness and destruction that dominate certain genres. Neither is there place for the hedonistic simplicity of other genres. Quite often, when electronic music is HARD, it's often also boring and monotone.
When electronic music is experimental, it's often not HARD enough to get your fist in the air.
Ontal manages to be at once HARD and Experimental.
Hard enough to get your adrenaline pumping..
Experimental enough to activate your imagination!

Especially thinking of Ikari, Amass, Entropia,..
Albums where a variety of styles is offered.
You can't say all tracks sound alike.
Variety is the spice of life they say, it's also the spice of Ontal!
