Father of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's bass player Robert Levon Been. Worked also as live soundmixer for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

Died of cardiac arrest at the Pukkelpop Festival in Hasselt (Belgium) on August 19th, 2010.
