Bruno Regnier

French composer and conductor
Keen on full orchestra " a climatologist with a stylistic writing and broad mind", Bruno Regnier was the first prize-winner of composition at the national contest of La Défense in Paris in 1999. Founder of the Company "A Suivre...", he paces the paths of creation in full orchestra where writing and improvisation mingle. Thanks to his knowledge of of American jazzmen as well as European composers, he takes up writing with a constant concern for form and orchestral colour, but also with special care to the players, whether they are amateur or professional.
Together with the direction of the different ensembles of the company "A Suivre..." he composes for different vocal and instrumental music groups within the context of orders : Parcours a state order for symphonic and choir (2002) Suite de Danses a state order for wind ensemble (2004), Danse Nocturne for Harmony,, Dis for choir and percussion trio (2005) Nues for the Mikrokosmos Choir (2006), Daï-Fu for harmony and a counter, The Play House cine-concert for harmony (2007), Bestiaire for choir (2009).
