Real Name:
Traedonya Chequelle
Traedonya is a musician, poet, model and activist. Born to Caribbean American parents, Traedonya is one of the first females in Hip Hop to grace the microphone in what has always been a male dominated industry, recording her first record on Tuff City at just 13 years old.

Starting out in her early teens Traedonya frequented the New York club scene where she used her birth name of Traedonya as her performance name, along with her alias "Heartbreaker", where she would rhyme and sing alongside grafitti artist and MC known as Kemp. The famous Latin Quarters, MKs, Daddy's House, Mars,The Rooftop and The World are a few of the New York City clubs that Traedonya could be spotted at on Saturday Nights. With her all girl crew in the clubs, Traedonya was usually the tallest, the most flamboyant and creative in attire, she always stood out in the crowd.

Said to be reserved and shy, Traedonya is the founding woman of the national youth organization known as The Blackwatch Movement and has been part of demonstrations and youth rallies around the United States.

Studying Jazz and Fine Arts in New York, Jazz greats Chico Hamilton, Bernard Purdie, Reggie Workman and Makanda Mkyntire are a few individuals that have added to the musical pedigree of Traedonya, as she has worked and studied with them. Traedonya has recorded and toured with several notable recording artists and musicians.
