1951-1956 : Musical studies - Cluj Conservatory, with Albert d'André
He improved his skills at Academia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Roma
He debuted in 1955.

1954-1960 : Cluj Romanian Opera,
1962-1964 : Bucharest Doina Army Choir Ensemble,
1964-1988 : Bucharest Romanian Opera. Here he was also adjunct-artistic director(1976-1982)
1990-1991 : Cultural attache at Romanian Embassy in Roma

1974-1976: professor at Theatrical Art Institute Bucharest
1985-1988, 1992-1996 : professor at Bucharest Romanian Opera,
1998 : professor in Spain.
