Czech composer, instrumentalist and sound designer (*July 3rd, 1954, Benešov u Prahy, Czechoslovakia, today Czechia), working with modern classical, industrial and dark ambient music. Besides creating solo works (occasionally also as Subpop Squeeze), he is the founding member and leader of projects Aghiatrias, Skrol, Zygote (2), Tiria and Luminar Ax. His compositional style is characterized by polymodality and using digital and various electroacoustic techniques to enhance sonic means of expression. Between 1986 and 1995, he was a member of experimental post-punk group Der Marabu.

Snake time and all tracks great as usual. Impressive how he is able to switch from one side project to the other reinventing constantly new, multiple sounds to express what comes from his inner thoughts.

Vladimír Hirsch pieces are powerful, introspective, disturbing, conceptual, complex, well grounded. Once you decide to go beyond listening, the journey into exploration and understanding can be very challenging, due to the nature of his compositions, all of them are like a perfect circle, full of subtleties, not to be missed.

Integrated music: industrial matter into orchestral form. An always present tense - the outcome of spiritual agony. This is not mood music for relaxing and enjoying - this is a totaly demanding music, almost ascetic, paving the way for transcendce of the Self.
