Gino Pavan

Real Name:
Gino Pavan
Gino Pavan is an italian composer and multi-instrumentalist from Veneto. His backrground is firmly rooted in the porgressive-rock and psychedelic experiences of late 70s in Italy. After his Conservatorio degree, spent some time in France playing as multi-instrumentist in various bands (he plays guitar, flute and synth). He ran a local recording studio (85-96) where a lot of important projects and bands were recorded (one above all, the soundtrack for the movie “Scano Boa – dannazione musica” by Guido Frezzato).

In 1980, the small italian Phantom Record label released his only 45 so far, "Magico", backed with "La terra ed il seme", now acknowledged as his early prog-disco masterpieces, and now extremely rare and a cult for vinyl collectors.

In 2016, the record label "Disco Segreta" repressed the two tracks on a 12" for the very first time with an unreleased track, "Electrik Flower".

2017 has seen his very first album "Absolute", released in 40 years, through Disco Segreta's sublabel "ADESSO": an electronic experimental work with a cosmic taste, with a thorough a research for synthesized, drone sounds and ambient shades.
