Criminal Nation was a Gangsta Rap Group from Tacoma, WA, co-founded by Steve O Brown & whose members included D-Rob, Spade, Bumpy, Wojack aka MC Deff, D-Wiz, Clee-Bone and Eugenius.

They can be considered as pioneers of the Tacoma, WA rap scene.

The group was active from 1990 to 1992, releasing 2 full lenght albums on Nastymix Record ("Release The Pressure" in 1990 & "Trouble In The Hood" in 1992). They briefly resurfaced in 1998, when they dropped their last album on Ocean Records ("Resurrection").

Wojack, one of the most talented rappers of the group, also released 2 solo albums ("Where Ya Goin Wo?" in 1997 & "Guerilla Music" in 2001) and DJ Eugenius appeared on several NW albums as a writer, DJ or producer, working with some respected rap figures of the area (Sir Mix-A-Lot, Mr. D.O.G., Homegrown...).
