A few contributors included Rick Munarriz & Willie Cleer; later of famed group Paris By Air and Mike Mechanixx; that used this moniker for Joey Boy Records.
Jose Armada Jr. founded multiple Miami based record labels starting with Joey Boy Records with partner Allen L. Johnston.
The name for Joey Boy Records derived from Jose Armada Sr. nicknaming his son Jose Armada Jr.; "Josesito", loosely translated in English to "Joey Boy". Hence the label's named roots.
