Canadian guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer from Québec. Winner of a BMI Certificate of Honour in 1970 for his composition "Si Tu Veux Me Garder" and winner of the Silver Key award in the 1970 Québec Key Contest for his composition "Emmanuelle". Fortier passed away in Montréal on May 18, 1971 at the age of 24 after being hospitalised for a brain tumour.
