Belgian composer, conductor, and clarinetist.
He's the son of Jacob (Jacques) Bender (1798-1844), brother of Adam Joseph Bender (also clarinetist and conductor), and nephew of Jean-Valentin Bender.
He's famous for having composed several marches, including: "Marche du 1er Régiment des Grenadiers", "Ouverture de Concours", "Hommage à l'Armée"...
