Del 5

Real Name:
Ben Davis & Dick Johnson
Del 5 run and own Blaktrax and Shaboom Records, plus Ben co-owns paperecordings.

As Del 5 they have had tracks out on Bosh, Kaos, Twisted, Shaboom and paperecordings and have remixed extensively for their own labels, including their take on Reset's Runaway Love that was paper's biggest seller of 2000. Their tracks have been licensed by Danny Howells, Steve Lawler and DJ Harri amongst others.

In November of last year Dick moved to New Zealand and has come into his own with his Piha track (along with Ian Pooley) on Honchos making the top of the Hype chart and remixing one of 2002's biggest releases; A Million Sons' Misti Blue. He has been tipped by Pete Tong as one of the next generation producers to look out for and seems to have one of his productions on the Essential Mix every week. Ben been remixing for paper and Shaboom under The Mighty Atom and has two 12"s forthcoming on Bosh.

Music man is their first first pan-world collaboration that they started in March when Ben was djing in Auckland. Both mixes are beautifully deep slabs of peak time dancefloor tackle that have been championed by King Unique's Mathew Roberts, Dick and Ben themselves.
