Together with the dancers Alejandra del Río, his sister Sandra and her cousins ​​Manuela and Miriam Reglita (artistically known as Las Mulatas del Caribe de Julia Ribas) and some local musicians formed a troupe that soon find acting ballrooms Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. It was in Brazil where the showbiz entrepreneur Matthias Coslada hired them to bring them to Spain. They arrived on October 12, 1960 in Barcelona where Ramoncito nowadays is considered to be the pioneer of salsa and generally one of the introducers of Caribbean rhythms in Spain, and from 1960 has been a regular in the nightlife of the country. He established his residence in Barcelona, ​​where he edited local label Discophon five splendid singles that were collected in the 1978 LP "Ramon Y Su Salsa" (Discophon 6084), Wah Wah Records reissued in 2013 (WBSLP017). He lived there until his death from cancer.
