He has studied Organ and Organistic Composition and he has graduated from “B. Marcello” conservatory (Venice) in Choral Music and Choir Conducting; he has later graduated from “G. Verdi” conservatory (Milan) in Composition under the guidance of M° Giacomo Manzoni. He has perfected himself in Orchestral Conducting with Carlo Maria Giuliani and Leonard Bernstein.
He has attended the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy D.A.M.S. (Disciplines of Arts, Music and Show business) of Bologna University, where he has secured fruitful relationships with some teachers, such as Aldo Clementi and Franco Donatoni (whose courses he has later followed at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena).
He has worked for Teatro alla Scala in Milan as Assistant Conductor.
He has been a full professor at “G. Verdi” conservatory in Milan and is currently teaching at “J. Tomadini” conservatory in Udine.
He has won composition and conducting competitions at a national and international level, he has collaborated with prestigious soloists, such as Fabrizio Meloni, Renato Bruson, Francesco De Angelis, Susanna Mildonian, Severino Gazzelloni, Carl Anderson, Maurizio Baglini, Anna Caterina Antonacci, Michelle Breeth, Franco and Bruno Mezzena’s Duo, Aldo Bennici, Eteri Gvazava, Nicola Piovani, Jess Trio Wien, Fiati Solisti della Scala, Domenico Nordio, Berliner Philharmoniker’s Chamber Orchestra,
