To avid music enthusiasts, Joshua Brent, as known as Schatrax, re-released most of his tracks, from his Stamp Collecting Vol.1 & Vol 2. albums, digitally on BeatPort, Amazon, iTunes, and TraxSource. However, these digitally re-released tracks have been edited.
In other words, Joshua Brent removed some samples on the digitally re-released tracks.
For instance, listen to the track "You Don't Act The Same" on his initial pressing: #9 .
Around sixteen seconds in, you are able to hear a female, who allures the listener to be enticed by her seductive moan.
From beginning to end, the seductive sample continues to be heard in the background.
In the digitally re-released track, Joshua Brent removes the entire seductive sample.
I'm not sure why Joshua decided to remove the sample along with other tracks.
To be frank, I prefer the initial pressing over the digitally re-released tracks.
This is a note I want to make for those, who did not recognize the significant differences on both the original Schatrax pressings (late 90s) and the re-released Schatrax pressings (2015-onward).

Comparison:

Original "You Don't Act The Same" ( 1997 , Vinyl #9 ): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7b7vAG7MGC4

Edited "You Don't Act The Same" ( 4/25/2016 , Amazon MP3 ): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adUERO7DhJk

It seems like Mr Joshua Brent has always kept one foot to the scene but left the other one out, otherwise it will be hard to explain why Schatrax was not heavily touring. this project has laid strong foundations into the term "European deep-house" influence: a more precise structured version to the US one, maybe a little less groovy sometimes, but smart cuts. most of the tracks a MPC'ed in a very dance floor oriented to perfection style and white labeled, mesmerizing moment is definitely "Mispent years" which was quite big for A few years on the Soma label, he squeezed that 808 right there...
