Hard SL

Real Name:
Dennis van Oenen
In the early '90s, Dennis a.k.a. DJ Hard SL started making his own music. The first years just for fun, but gradually things became more serious. In 1997 Dennis got in touch with Guido Pernet, one of the founders of Human Resource. Guido invited Dennis to his Dub Foundation studios and bring along some of his music.
Quite to Dennis' surprise, Guido immediately liked the tracks and they agreed to professionally record them. Five tracks were sent to DJ Paul, who instantly decided to release all five of them. In april 1998 Dennis' first record came out on Terror Traxx: Boom Service - This is hell (TT45).
On TT46 (which actually came out a couple of weeks before TT45) there was another song Dennis had been working on: Bodylotion's 'No Worries', which he made together with Jeroen Streunding.
After these first releases, Dennis kept producing but due to the fact that Guido Pernet and the others at Dub Foundation got busier and busier, no new tracks were released.
When Guido got in touch with George Ruseler (DJ Distortion) from Megarave Records, it was agreed that Dennis would cooperate directly with him. This resulted in a new release on Megarave Records: Hard SL - The Attack (MRV037).
The first record was followed by the song 'Ultimate Sounz' on the Members of Megarave 2001 record (MRV046). 'For You' and 'Da Wicked Buzz' were released on cd (Hardcore 2002) and are still awaiting their vinyl release.
A new Hard SL 12" was released in june 2002, this time on Dutch Gabber Network Records (DGN 006).
