Isabella Patricola

Profile:

b.: 1886
d.: 1965

Popular singer on radio, records and in vaudeville during the 1920's. She was also a violinist. Early appearances can be traced to Green Mill Gardens, Chicago in June 1914.
She was a star attraction there with her 25 piece orchestra until 1917 when she left to tour the Pantages and later Keith - Orpheum vaudeville circuit.
Her stage appearances billed her as "The Queen Of The Cabaret" and "The Shining Star Of Vaudeville".
Patricola made her first commercial recordings in the spring of 1919, for Pathé's vertical-cut discs, and her last in March 1929, for Edison's failing record operation.

She was the sister of Tom Patricola.
