Rami Yacoub

Swedish musician, music producer and songwriter, born 17 January 1975.

He was part of the successful Cheiron Productions and Maratone Studios. Together with Max Martin and other producers, he has written and produced songs for artists such as Backstreet Boys, Pink, Britney Spears, E-Type, Westlife, Nicki Minaj, Enrique Iglesias, Céline Dion, *NSYNC and One Direction. He has also written songs with Avicii.

Rami Yacoub grew up in Rissne and Haninge and played bass in a hard rock band in his teens and later started making remixes. In 1998 he was asked by Max Martin to start working at Cheiron Studios in Stockholm. The first collaboration with Max Martin resulted in Britney Spears' world hit "...Baby One More Time". At the end of the 2000s, Rami started the production company Kinglet Studios together with Carl Falk (2). In 2013, he and Falk were awarded the Platinum Guitar award.
