Jay Cameron (born 14 September 1928 in New York City; died 21 March 2001 in San Diego, CA) was an American saxophone player, mainly baritone. His career began in the 1940s in Hollywood and then shifted to Europe. He returned to the U.S. in 1956 playing in bands led by Woody Herman, Slide Hampton, Maynard Ferguson, Chet Baker, Dizzy Gillespie, Paul Winter (2) and Freddie Hubbard.
