In my opinion, Aretha Franklin and Shirley Bassey are the greatest female voices of all ages!!!

I don't know much about the "Queen of soul" Aretha Franklin, but she was great at performing some Mariah Carey songs in 1994, and her performance to the song "America the beautiful" in 2007 was good (she had great voice, in general).
It's so sad that some great legendary black singers from the past (no racism intended) are gone: first Nina Simone, then Barry White, then James Brown, and now Aretha Franklin. That is so sad :(

What an amazing singer. Such a sad time for the music industry. Her music will live on forever. There was nobody better and she definitely was the queen of soul. Rest in Peace X
