Oliver C. Brown is the brother of Eddie Brown, of Joe & Eddie. His first big break came in Florida with T.K. Records as their house percussionist. He recorded and/or toured with most of their artists, including Benny Latimore, Little Beaver, Clarence Reed, Betty Wright, Gwen McCrae, and George McCrae, and was an original member of KC & The Sunshine Band. After the collapse of T.K., Brown moved to Los Angeles, recording and touring Jermaine Jackson, The Whispers, Larry Vann, Billy Preston, Leo Sayer, Al Jarreau, Natalie Cole, Thelma Houston, Cal Bennett, John Stewart, Doug McLeod, The Beach Boys, Ron Thompson, Chris Bennett, Fleetwood Mac, and many other Warner Brothers, Capitol and Motown Recording artists. He is also a member of the smooth jazz group Gravity 180, formerly Gravity (27).
