The Three 'N One Remix might possibly be one of the greatest remixes of an already great track ever to occur. Impossible not to grin and have the hairs stand up on end when the riff drops. Nalin & Kane did a fantastic more moody progressive remix in 1998 that came very close though.

This is just a great piece of music. Even individuals who do not like dance music would find something moving about this track. Still makes my hairs stand on end when I listen to the DJ Kid Paul or Three In One mix. It's a song that proves that electronic music can stand the test of time. When I pass away, I'll be buried with a copy of this song! Unfortunately, some of the later remixes have not lived up to the same standard. The only mix that comes close is the Deadmau5 mix. That's heading back in the right direction.

Energy 52 was a concept which was the idea of Paul Schmitz Moormann (DJ Kid Paul) and Harald Blüchel (Cosmic Baby) around 1991. Thier classic track "Café Del Mar" layed reasonably low until 1997 when Hooj Choons commisioned Three 'N One to do a remix. The Three 'N One Remix was that successful that it was re-released in 1998 on Hooj Choons once again with mixes from Nalin & Kane , Oliver Lieb and Hybrid. "Café Del Mar" was recently voted 'number one dance tune of all time'. Sadly however, all hopes of a follow up track to "Café Del Mar" from Energy 52 will sadly unlikely never happen as Paul M finnished up with dance music in 1996 and according to Cosmic Baby from an interview from the late 1990's havn't spoken since....prehaps due to Paul M taking most of the credit for "Café Del Mar". One will never know.

Energy 52 is probably one of the best known trance-projects around the globe. Their alltime classic "Café Del Mar" has sold an enormous amount of copies and still sells. More work of them might be there in the future.
